My name is Misi, and I never thought I’d find myself in a situation where I’d need to ask for help like this.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community in Hungary, I’ve found myself in an increasingly difficult position due to the current political climate. I’ve poured my heart into building a small café that served as my main source of income—and a safe space for many.
Sadly, due to growing pressure and targeted actions, I was forced to shut it down. It feels like my dream was taken from me just when it was beginning to flourish.
I’m doing everything I can to rebuild my life, but I need a little support to stay afloat while I take the next steps.
